I grew up in sunny California but have proudly called Colorado home for over a decade. I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education and have spent more than nine years working with individuals with physical, mental, and developmental disabilities. I also spent several wonderful years in education, where my passion for helping people learn, grow, and thrive only deepened.

I firmly believe in the power of art as a form of self-expression—when words fall short, creativity has a way of speaking. Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where people of all ages and abilities feel seen, supported, and inspired is at the heart of everything I do. Building community is just as important to me, and I love bringing people together through creativity, connection, and shared experiences.

Outside the studio, I’m a new mom to an adventurous little boy who has made life even more colorful. Motherhood has given me a whole new appreciation for the importance of play, imagination, and creating meaningful moments together. As a family, we love exploring everything Colorado has to offer—from mountain towns and our incredible zoo to local festivals, parks, and discovering new adventures close to home.

Commander Arthur Major, U.S. Navy, was my grandfather (and my cousin Allie’s) and the inspiration behind Art Major. Ever since we can remember, he was crafting and creating. In his workshop, he’d build model airplanes to exact specifications, design dollhouses from scratch, and repair anything that could be tinkered with, glued, or painted. Art truly loved the arts. He generously shared his time, talents, and heart with everyone around him. His kindness, creativity, courage, and unwavering generosity continue to inspire everything we do at Art Major, and we’re honored to carry on his legacy through the studio that proudly bears his name.
